Creating a MySQL database in cPanel Print

MYSQL is a database software that lets you adjust and modify your database records. Using the wizard makes it easy for you to get started, proceed with an example below

If you have not yet set up cPanel, Click Here to log in

 

Step 1: In your Tools menu, go down till you see Databases. Within those options, click on "MySQL Database Wizard"

Step 2: Create a new database in the wizard's Step 1

Step 3: You will get a message saying it is added to the database. Give the new user a Username and Password then Click [Create] when completed

Step 4: Click "ALL PRIVILEGES" or choose the specific privileges for the level of access you'd like this user to have, then click [Next Step]

Step 5: MySQL database and user have now been created, click "Return Home"

Step 6: To modify the database and all users click on "MySQL Databases" in the Tools page
